When women miss their supposed period date, some are alarmed that it could be one of potential pregnancy signs. Indeed, it is possible that a missed period is caused by a woman becoming pregnant, especially for those whose period cycle is normal. So, when you have missed your period, you should identify other signs that your body is showing. If you have the following symptoms on top of missing your monthly period, then it could be an indicator that you have successfully conceived.

In addition to missing period, an unusual feeling of extreme fatigue is an early sign of pregnancy. This is most prevalent during the first week of pregnancy. At this stage, your body undergoes extreme hormonal changes that is adding stress into your body and creating that tired feeling.

Alongside fatigue in your body, you will notice your breasts have become swollen and tender. In fact, it is sensitive to touch. But this is only typical during the initial stage of pregnancy since your mammary glands is developing to produce milk for the baby.

Lastly, morning sickness or nausea is one of the commonly reported early pregnancy symptoms. If you have this in combination with all other symptoms above, then it is a positive sign that you are pregnant. This is very usual within the first two weeks following conception, but this happens only to some and not all women.

Know Your Period Cycle

The best way to determine whether a missed period is an indicator of your pregnancy is to study your period cycle. If your egg is not fertilized, then you should expect your menstruation period to start even after a slight delay.

Every woman must also understand that your cycle is unique. Some have shorter cycles than the others, so only have the capacity to determine when you are fertile or not. It is important for you to recognize whether you have a combination of pregnancy signs or if these symptoms are present individually, such that you can provide the nourishment that the body in your womb needs to develop and survive.
